Do they not rattle like fuck? It would drive me bloody crazy all that tin work zinging away! Did you not fancy doing it on phenolic ply? It's good stuff if you treat/cap the cut edges. Bit less crystal maze industrial zone too! I've just coughed up a not inconsiderable sum for a sheet of 10' x 5' phenolic mesh ply for mouse cockpit floor, the ledger is probably getting somewhere near close to being balanced...

They won't rattle when they're screwed down to the original marine ply lids, need them for strength. As for style, shiny face, shiny arse. With a penthouse on top. 😂

Just been down to the boat to finish off the locker lids. Because the up turns round the stanchions were cut at 45 deg in the corner there wasn't a raised lip at the corners. So, make a form into the corner with insulting tape, build up corners with powder and superglue, trim flat with lidl's finest battery angle grinder, corners all built up now.
