Im sorry you lost a friend.  I had a reason to hide but certainly not to make anybody feel threatened. I too have changed my privacy setting for now.

Im also sad that you no longer "like me" presumably based on my postings or habits here but to be honest Ive had enough of people telling me to "be kind"  The forum and others like it are an infinitesimal part of social media and I respect your feelings but I wont be told how to behave to suit others.   It is impossible to please you and others and Ive given up trying. 

So like me or loathe me it really doesn't matter.

Most of us here have had plenty of the shit stuff, and some..... loads of reasons to hide - and be out here on the water.

You do whatever feels right for you - a little respect for others is always a bonus, though x

I gave you empathy, you didn't see it, I gave you respect but you didn't see that either. Perhaps you only see what you want to see?  (that was meant respectfully too but the written word can be taken in so many different ways according to mood) 

I dont speak the same as others, I dont do twee and I dont do lovey dovey, and believe me Ive tried that!  Works for a time but when the gloss gets forgotten to be applied then its utter confusion.
