We came through Woodseaves cutting and there were clear signs of a land slip with large blocks of sandstone blocking the towpath and fallen trees resting on the red earth slip above it.
Navigation was fine, but I was very pleased to get by that stretch.
We carried on down Tyrley locks and Tyrley cutting to discover no other sign of a land slip, so I assume the problem was Woodseaves cutting all along.
I assume that work will continue on the slippage and to clear the towpath eventually.
