I have just looked at 3 of my old passports. they do look black - until you look at them against a black background - then they are definitely very very dark blue. Hunting for my old passports I came across my first school report book. What went wrong?! Myles?

Didn't Foxy change his name by deed pole as he had been banned from a forum due to mischievous behaviour?

fifies - lovely double ended sail-assisted fishing boats. Posted these on TB 3 years ago, here they be again: My middle name from her - Margaret Ross Here she is again with her husband John Alexander Millar And they had some children. My dad's mum's father is the first boy on the left - Thomas Millar. Looks a bit like me in this and another photo.

googling Millars of Fife, there appear to be possibly 2 boatbuilders, one is a boatbuilder accredited with building 'gentleman's yachts' known as Millars of Fife (but whom I cannot trace otherwise), and the other is James N Miller of Anstruther who specialised in Fifie fishing boats. Perhaps some confusion with the spelling?

I have all the info about 'our' Millar of Cellardyke, which was researched for a book. I don't think the book was ever published. If you are really really interested, I could dig it out.

no, s'allright thanks - just a bit of nostalgia when I was seriously interested in traditional fishing boats - the interest has waned since, while my age has been waxing.

Thank goodness, saves me a bit of work. Happy do do it if you change your mind. Busy weekend ahead - paperwork mostly.
