What has happened to the general public. I read of an old lady who was swept from her feet by a hoard heading for anti bac hand wash. I also see that Supermarkets have been cleaned out of anti bac goods also toilet rolls, all gone presumably to the same place that the Brexit hoarders use for all their stuff. Chris was online as usual to book our weekly shop and found Tesco is out of many tinned foods as well as the anti bac and toilet rolls, also bread mixes were all out of stock, oh and the dogs don't get away unscathed because dog food is thin on the ground. Rather reminds me of of the so called "salt shortage" people filling trollies with the stuff when the reality is it is mined in this country Phil

Yes, but it's essentially good news because the supermarkets increase their prices when folk are panic buying and have to heavily discount goods afterwards to get sales moving again, which is when I will be bulk buying.

Soap and toilet paper still available in Himanka - I know, because I bought some an hour ago. Sometimes living in the sticks has its advantages.

No... I mean because the city dwellers are too scared to venture up here into hillbilly lands and do their shop-raiding here.

I went to the hardware and panic-bought all of their boxes of drawing pins.

You never know what is going to be useful once the virus really hits hard.
It's the unexpected things that will turn out to be in high demand.
Another one to look at might be bicycle inner tubes.
