Cruised to Wheaton Aston, and as I pulled out of the lock onto the water point I heard an alarm in the boat.
Tied off and rushed inside to discover the boat full of smoke ... Jane had made the fire up earier and the service point there is very exposed with a very strong cross wind, causing massive blow back everytime the wind gusted.
Quickly opened up, and emptied the coals into the metal ash pan ... of course also checked the flue and top plate. All was fine it was simply blowing back.
We've moved to opposite the pub, which affords some shelter, and rebuilt the fire and all is okay (for now).
I bloomin' well hate the wind ... as I am WANT to say
But our excitement is nothing compared to JohnV and quaysider 's ... take care.
Good to see you post aquarat ... it's been a while.
Yes as I was writing the original post I was thinking it was ironic to be complaining about blow jobs ...but you win the prize for being the first to mention it
Can't you rush up to Tyrley cutting and chase C&RT up on their threatened update ... we're waiting to find out if we need to turn around and go the long way to Hurlestone.
I've been self isolating mate, for 10years now. Tyrley news on the jungle drums is anything from a few day to a few weeks so make of that what you want! We out the water at start of April so should be ok for our bumbling.
dogless: Yes thanks John ... no milk or sugar, but a nice biccy

JohnV: There are other drugs but I haven't found the side effects with Ramipril to be bad, it seems to just make my throat a bit more sensitive so things that might have just tickled my throat and make me want to clear it now make me cough.

loddon: The cough is the only one I get from ramipril, although the combinatins of drugs I am on has interesting effects.
