Shania told me to go out and buy as many Jumbo-sized extra large condoms as I could find. Isn't that just what she is though? Sorry Shania, but sometimes the truth will out. I suppose, if things prove faulty, you could sell the offspring as Barbie and Ken dollies.

Mentioned on another thread but my brother's decided to 'panic buy' fifteen can trays of Guiness, on sale at Morrisons at £12 per tray.
He's been and got ten trays before the hoarders swoop ... just in case.

It seemed bizarre to me that the 100g bags of pasta in Morrisons were all sold out, yet they still had untold numbers of 10kg bags of rice on sale. Pasta is obviously an essential part of the mania. The human race has been here before... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dancing_mania

Went to an engineers supplies yesterday, guess what they had in bulk, 28 pack toilet rolls. Got one for myself and one for the circus. It pays to shop around. patty glad you are back, not stuck in the bowels of a cruise ship. Are you now serving 14 days solitary?

As I previously mentioned I carry a fair stock of extra basics, enough for a crew of three or four for a few days so after the tales of idiots storming the shops I have been staying well away. However there were a few extras that would be good to have if I am going to have to turn into an anchorite so this morning at 0330 I headed to a large Tesco that's 24 hours and bought the extra bits (extra coffee, fresh fruit and veg, eggs and butter, a couple of bottles of vino etc) I was hoping to buy a loaf of bread to stick in the freezer but the shelves were totally bare !!! so I made do with a couple of packs of Ryvita ......(I have strong flour and yeast in my emergency stores if I get desperate). Place was pretty well deserted, there were more staff there than customers. Apart from the total lack of bread, everything else including pasta and teabags seemed to be there (although some items like long life milk looked a bit thin on the ground) definitely the time to go, was back on board and in bed again by 4.45
