Apparently oil is heading towards a negative value. Buy oil If you have somewhere to store it It seems the black gold is out of favour. Sell the gold and buy oil. Unfortunately you have to buy in Dollars, an expensive buy now. GB Pound now 1.07 Euros - it was 1.40 just before the Brexit referendum, and 1.15 the morning after the Brexit referendum. Britain is skint - yet, how can everyone afford to keep driving around in expensive cars, expensive narrowboats, and the harbours are full of yachts? You should be selling everything you have on eBay! Including Boris Johnson! ps - I liked this Daily Mail reader's comment last night: "Boris looks like the failed first attempt at Frankenstein's monster that was chucked in a skip."

'The Book of Eli' is a great film especially if you are a fan of Christianity. I prefer 'The Road', an unrelentingly bleak film ruined by a thin ray of optimism at the end. Also, I've recently watched 'Prometheus' and 'Covenant', both of which are great. But then I always was a fan of Ridley Scott's work.

Just to clarify I didn't actually do any of the panic buying myself it was more in jest that I suggested it.
It's definitely happening though.
I don't quite understand the mentality behind it.
If, and it's only an if, there were considerable problems acquiring food in the coming weeks then people will just revert to basic instincts and anyone who has hoarded food will be descended on by hungry people.
I like being reasonably hungry it's good for health in general but once you get properly hungry your instinct will drive you to find food.
So the very thing the food hoarders are afraid of is something that they will cause and therefore put them right in the firing line if it gets desperate.
It's idiotic when you think it through but then it's just animal behaviour at the end of the day.

A lot of people in the UK do have guns, it's not like the USA but many people here do have guns. Particularly in that there London, people with little self control and doubtful morals have guns... and machetes. If I were you I'd be bumbling out of London on my biggest boat (or two) for a while. You don't need to be there, you just like it for some reason. There will be riots eventually and armed scum on the streets of London and Manchester for starters. Take care.

Panic buying huh, now we have found that people are panic buying for dogs and we can only order 3 tins which won't go far between 3 dogs certainly wouldn't last more than a day! Not sure what they are supposed to do for the rest of the week. Reckon I'll have to teach them stalking or summet Phil

Like Clinton Cool I am now eyeing up the Canada geese and wondering if they are laying eggs yet. Bit early I think for the eggs. If it goes tits up I know what to do.
