Obviously with the imminent breakdown of normal society one of the most important things to realise is that mobile networks and internet will break.
Never mind the overload on health care systems.
And food. No food.
It seems like a magic type thing but all of this needs people to actually get things done.
Electric supplies.
Beer production.
So just thought it worth doing some pleasantries so bye bye, good luck, hope to see you as a survivor all that sort of thing.
It is the end of the world as we know it.
In the post covid recovery phase where there arrrr only a few dozen left if you meet another human on your travels simply ask "twat?" and you will be able to find anyone who was previously on here.
Anyone who thinks things like internet will still exist after this is very naive.
And deluded.
It's bad shit.
Over and out.

No I don't think this is an end of the world scenario, even if the percentage of fatalities was 4 or 5 times the worst case they are talking about now it would still only be say 1 or 1 and a half million and let's be honest the majority of them wrinklys ..... maybe it would remove a stabilising influence but the skill set lost would probably not be at the highly productive end so I don't think civilisation will collapse.
but wandering the canals calling "twat" might become a lonely existence

Right now I know your dead I can come and nick your diesel. That was a figure of speech. If someone opens a comms channel after you say that you are allowed to reply. As for the diesel good luck with that I'm a tank empty type of person I'm afraid.

I went to Tesco in loudwater (near high Wycombe) around 2pm today and a LOT of the shelves were empty. I mean a LOT of them. Not just the obvious ones. It was properly stripped . Not many people in the shop no queueueues. I have been there before and it's usually quite a quiet shop. It must have been busy earlier or stock being diverted elsewhere. It's an interesting thing to think about the prioritisation of stock allocation once the shit hits the fan.

We wandered to the shops after noon ... maybe we missed the mad scramble ... maybe Market Drayton is particularly civilised ... no sign of any unseemly behaviour ... indeed all was perfectly normal.

I can assure you shops here in Finland are well stocked. You want reindeer? Bear soup? Pea soup? Spinach soup? Tesco's vegetable burgers? Toilet paper/kitchen towel/Moomin plasters/lingonberry jam/minced lamb/Fuller's beer (from London!) - we got it! ...and you're in a quandry...?
STAY THERE

Like I said it's a figure of speech not a literal description of marine VHF radio usage ETA judging by your last bit you need to get a grip of your personal psychology program and change it asap.
