Well according to the news the whole world has been put on social distancing measures.
So this raises obvious questions about etiquette.
Which of these is appropriate:
Is it correct to approach a stranger, walk around them while regarding them as an immediate biohazard.
Is it correct to approach a stranger, carry out eye contact and affirmative gestures, walk around them and view them as a potentially friendly human who may have spare food.
And another thought.
If you are aware of the location of a virus transmission is it appropriate to share this information or just put the hazmat suit on for your own protection.

So a person with the virus is now a 'virus transmission location'? I hope we don't get to the point where anybody views the approaching stranger as food.
I'm ashamed to say I would find it easier to help a friend or relative who was infected than it would a stranger. I'm glad (in a selfish way) that I am unaware of any vulnerable people who live alone. It seems unlikely I'll have to make that choice.

If you are aware of the location of a virus transmission is it appropriate to share this information. Is Boris going to set up a reward scheme where people can ‘snitch up’ their virus riddled neighbours for shipment to ‘recovery camps’? Perhaps he’s going to start a ‘Youth’ branch of the police / army to go round ‘investigating’ the reported infected ?

It would give something for teenagers to do.
I think in the interests of humanity an essential move in the next few days will be to take facebook down and bury it. Permanently.
Forever. Put loads of stones on top so nobody can dig it up.
There is still diesel for the 360 fill it up dig a big hole and bin it.
NOW.

Perhaps he’s going to start a ‘Youth’ branch of the police / army to go round ‘investigating’ the reported infected ? Sheffield University leads the way! "Students can now get paid to snitch on their peers at the University of Sheffield. The students will earn £9.34/hour to be “race equality champions,” and their training for the work will include teaching them how to “lead healthy conversations” on racism, microaggressions, and how to deal with those peers who commit infractions. Hours range from two to nine hours per week, like any part-time work-study job." www.thepostmillennial.com/snitches-get-riches-university-rewards-student-callouts-with-cash/

Couple of days, they'll probably be throwing them at my boat.

Hopefully they are an equal opportunities employer and will be considering wogs for this role.

This social distancing thing is starting to get quite interesting.
I present, to a normal person, as a bit of a nutter due to my usual attire.
Nothing extreme but straw hat stuck on head at all times of year seems to be a bit of a trigger.
Anyway, the reactions are varied but I am finding an increased social distancing aspect kicking in.
I wonder if that is my imagination, lack of washing, or people responding to government advice..
I'm all for social distancing. I love it. But I wonder if others are finding it adds a layer of extra stress to their lives while they have to process potential threats.

Teenagers not quite got the concept yet..... The little darlings had all congregated on the prom I elected to navigate all alone along a tiny strip of beach that the high tide had not yet claimed.

I now have a fairly clear social distancing conundrum. There is a Canada goose about 5m from me which has one egg under it. Do I have to keep to the 2 meter rule for this? Goose arrived a couple of hours ago. There are existing signs of human occupation ie my log stand and bits of firewood plus I was here first ! She seems to be quite friendly but definitely adhering to the social distancing guidelines as is the male goose in that they don't like close contact.

That's a relief. I was considering disabling it once it had finished with the laying and trying the eggs they might be quite nice.
But due to the govt social distancing rule I might not go there.
