imho, SOME of those films are WHY the idiots have been stripping the shelves and behaving like selfish twats... I'm totally aghast at how "society" is so crumbly - it sucks.
AS for me - well, I'm chugging along - keeping the magic 2 metres from people (unless trying to buy loo roll and eggs) and hoping Darwinsim does it's job.

Maybe perhaps. Time was when horror films were about vampires and such. Now it's all psycho-killers and mass-extinction events. Even Stephen King had to move with the times. BTW Darwinism IS doing its job. The selfish and paranoid will do best.

Out of that list. Mad Max Dr Strangelove (the best on the list) Book of Eli Logan's Run 👍

Also there's 'The Andromeda Strain' which is still cool but surprisingly a recent two-part made-for-tv sequel was also very good.

Or as we have so long, his Dark Tower series of books is great - read them in the right order...if you like Stephen King.

Don't think I've watched any of them all the way through..seen bits of trailers of a few '12 Monkeys' is great but the plot is very convoluted so you have to pay attention or it probably won't make sense. 'THX 1138' is a film directed by George Lucas and is a remake of a earlier student project. It is very dark, and has a theme similar to Aldous Huxley's 'Brave New World'. 'Zombieland' is a comedy. About zombies...

I have read all of SK's 'classics' and loved them all. Its amusing to note how some of his short stories have been made into massively successful films ('The Green Mile', 'The Shawshank Redemption'). Also there is a recent remake of 'Pet Semetary' which I like more than the original (haven't read the book)!
