i didn't bother to read it through..i never know if its his words or just cut n paste Perhaps you should, a lot of people swing towards this point of view and wouldn't cross much of that out, if any. One can put one's fingers in one's ears and say la-la-la like an awful lot of people did believing it was a done deal that the electorate would do as they were advised and vote to stay in the EU if scared them enough...My gut feeling is much the same people, possibly even more...who knows...would agree with the sentiments in Foxys post. That's a majority in a vote. If a politician with charisma, think Tony Blair, Nigel Farge (whatever you think of them) makes it THE issue... Something has to give, the NHS will be in the spotlight doing a solo for the next month(s), billions being spent on a railway line, austerity, everyone seems to have a new car... there's no money...there's a bottomless pit of money... There will always be haters ... an indisputable fact ... we don't have to listen though (or read in this case). Rog

I was trying to capture peoples imagination as to how this world would be if NOBODY had money (I.e no monetary system). Let's face it, thousands of people dedicate their lives to caring for family and friends and don't get paid for it. Every day people help others without asking for money in return. Unfortunately whilst there is still greed and hate in the world, we are stuck with the monetary system. I know we dual on here a bit, good naturedly I like to think, but in essence I agree with a great many of your posts. I just bat for realism. Money is a hindrance for most people if you turn it on it's head for a minute. When money came in to being, so did limitless wealth, there are only so many camels anyone would be able to cope with and they'd have to swap 'em for other things anyway. Duel not dual.

Foxy's original post and my comments on it Rog You might have noticed I enjoy a bit of future projection. I like novels where time splits and you take the wrong trouser leg. Soooo... If there were a nationwide referendum on Foxy's post V leave it as it is, right now before our intelligence was abused and insulted by every liar with a vested interest... I wonder what the outcome would be.

Yes, I think the Covid-19 patients should be parked up in the hospital car park whilst idiots who got themselves tattoos and have now changed their minds have them removed. I mean - get in line!!

Foxy is Ok, he's just saying what he thinks. That is a good thing at a time like this. Nobody fully knows the truth, but I'm sure those on the front line are closer to it than some of us. Foxy does talk you to death though (I know, I've met him)....only kidding Ross.
