My opinion? It isnt a joke to poll with ridiculous choices.
500 died in Madrid today, despite lockdown. Without lockdown it woud have been worse. The warning is clear from Spain and Italy, as well as eslewhere, ignore the restrictions and it will happen exactly as it has there. Telling yourself you are young and healthy so wont die means you are killing others.
It wil not get back to normal anytime soon.
Is this virus going to get really bad? YES

YES I was in the camp of not knowing if the virus will get bad but knowing life will get bad and very tough for many of us. Although I'm accepting the virus may get very bad too, hopefully lockdown works. |

YES 2 of my family are in the front line..both consultants and yes its going to get really bad.. We can use humour or whatever to help us keep going what we must do is obey the self isolating requirements so that the NHS is more able to cope... My daughter in law contacted my daughter to tell her to ensure I kept away from people..there are not enough ITU beds and the tough decisions mean that the age of those getting them is younger and younger.... the death rate will in all probability continue to rise for weeks. Its scary...its a horrible death, I'll never forget seeing a man with lung cancer die, he fought for every breath he took and what I see of this I think the deaths are just as traumatic. |

YES You'll find that most of us, if not all, agree. It's seriously serious. I've heard of 5 family members ill today. One work colleague recovering after a week. Being a carer for Noreen I just don't want to catch it, neither does she, being somewhat vulnerable. However, it cheers some of us up for a while, we prefer to laugh in the face of doom. Laugh or cry, it doesn't change the chance outcome, just don't stand close while you are doing it. Anyway young @someboater, you are very naughty, you should know better, polls are bad, people get led astray by lying shysters and vote for their own extinction. |

And yes I have had severe pneumonia so I am self isolating and have been practising social distancing. Today I have been within 2 metres of another human only once. That was for my daily shopping. It's a natural virus and we are both foolish and arrogant if we think we can fight nature. Some old people will die. So what? That's what old people do. That's nature. The survival rate for anyone under 50 is 99.8%.
