It's work and you have the information about the job and the communication from CRT to back that up. Can't see a problem But the Comms from CRT just says judge it yourself, your responsibility. that on it's own might not be enough but add that to the job information (which presumably is or can be in email form) and it's a solid case

CRT are not the arbiter of what constitutes essential. All they have done is repeated government advice. The clue is the word "if".

If Boatman was 'Typhoid Mary' you wouldn't want him stopping at your village shop (where he might buy ALL the Easter eggs!).

I dont think you will have any problems with police-you are within gov guidelines. If it all gets tougher though you may get problems -what would you do if you had to leave the boat somewhere (dodgy) or developed coronavirus (on someone elses boat)? For me anyway, healthwise to myself I see low risk if precautions taken-but the potential risk to someone elses property makes it too high risk to contemplate as it all stands at the moment.

The Police are moving about all over the country, aren't they? They could all be spreaders of the virus. And, as I have mentioned before, Underground trains in London are jam-packed and the Police are doing nothing about that. Not to mention the virus floating all round the supermarkets and up and down every office building's ventilation system. The whole situation is ridiculous. Still... perhaps after another 2 weeks we'll get some idea as to whether this'quarantine' has produced any results - although who to believe? As we have seen, the statistics have been manipulated every which way already! It's going up! It's going down! It's going left! it's going right! But... is that an exponential graph or just an ordinary linear one?

The vast majority DON'T have the virus ... none contact with others is to reduce the chance of catching and spreading it. Many are working, but observing hygeine standards as best they can. I for one am very glad, and thankful for all the drivers, warehouse personel, gas, electric, water services personel, shop workers, refuse personel, sewage personel, carers, cleaners, NHS staff (especially my sister and her husband) and many, many more who HAVE to take risks to provide for those of us that CAN stay at home. All things must pass Rog

Yes, of course people 'have' to go to work, but where are their masks? People like me sitting at home could be put to work in a mask-manufacturing factory. No-one has asked me if I'd like to help out with Finnair's backlog of refunding fares to customers whose planes have been cancelled.

While it may make you feel better, masks do bugger all, certainly the type you are using. www.livescience.com/face-mask-new-coronavirus.htmlStill, it gives you summat to bang on about.
