OK sun over yardarm, no engine trials 'till midnight, filling my day with relaxation, siesta, housekeeping, study, painting, boating. Perfect. Best time Iβd say to test run an engine. Nice and quiet, will be easy to hear what faults it may have.

This is getting more like CWDF now, if you want to harp on, best read all my posts. But I am trying to sort this out, and do other th7ngs. My laptop is half broken, I have no plan to learn about videos/uploading or anything else at this time, Time for a brandy, I don't mess about with machinery unless I pass the eight hour rule. A glass of red wine went down about lunch time, sweet and sour duck with soft noodles, and home made rice pudding, any further comments, please keep them to yourself.

Not sure if you are joking, but there is no obvious noise, I think noise could be normal, I really can't hear anything, but it's not firing, all detailed previously. Could be I am not " Heating" , could be no fuel getting through, could be air in fuel. I do not think it is batteries as it normally fires up straight away and I 've been charging them. It seems I need to check exhaust, so daylight will be useful. Thans to Nicknorman

I read a bit of this thread earlier but I've sunk the best part of a bottle of wine before reading the rest so can't be arsed to go back and read it all again.
Is the engine turning over?

It's funny she only comes here when she doesn't get what she wants over there.I surely cannot be the only person who remembers how she behaved when she first landed here ?

Socks; you said earlier in the thread that you tried with no throttle, can I suggest you try starting with the throttle lever pushed half way forward and do give the glow plugs a good work out of a 10 count or more Phil
