Noticed whilst driving around delivering supplies to the housebound that the traffic volumes are hugely reduced at the moment for some reason.
Would now be a really good time for the local councils and highways departments to get to grips with the road repairs rather than in the summer months when hopefully we will be allowed out again?
The pothole situation is worse now after a wet winter. So come on guys get the tarmac rakes hot and the roller fired up.

Around the Hull area when I was out yesterday I noticed that the traffic was up a little compared to my only other visit about a week ago. It was however still very light. On both occasions I noticed council workers out and about doing various tasks. (did notice that their idea of social distancing was ...... unusual)

What? Both leaning on the same shovel? Or all snuggled up in the same truck cab?

What? Both leaning on the same shovel? Or all snuggled up in the same truck cab? one pair were weeding in a central reservation flower bed ....... side by side in a 6 foot wide central reservation. Another pair were cutting the grass, safely on either side of the road ...... except one machine had a fault and both of them were leaning over it inspecting it. Yesterday there were three council vans, one of them an "amenity van" all parked next to one another with the drivers in a gaggle having a chat standing on the verge
