My granddaughter is five tomorrow and I should be in Madrid to celebrate with them Like as in sympathise. I have a friend and his wife under 'house arrest' in Calabardina ... desperate to come the opposite way. The Spain lock down has been extended to 26 April I understand. Rog

My first born is 10 on the 11th April. Strange times to be a 10 year old.
She and her sister are happy enough still doing a lot of playing and giggling. The younger one has an 8th birthday middle of May. It will be interesting to see if we can get out for that. Usually we like to visit Ramsgate and Margate respectively. By train so I can neck plenty of beer.

I think Dyertribe will inform folks if ote happens to me.. My kids have to contact her(if they've got any sense that is) Actually maybe I'll also leave a list of who to contact with little sis. I thought about it last night as these times are so uncertain.. Most of us have to get this...we don't know how we will be..most of my stuff put in order anyway though I've a few writing projects I'd like to finish... I walk my solo walk daily and avoid everyone. Son has come to stay which TBH is nice as I had got awfully fed up with it just being me at this time..now have someone to talk through the fears...hes not been near anyone with symptons so we just hope virus free here. Itβs good to talk isnβt it. Ali and me had a chat about some stuff this week that we had never thought to do before. To brighten the mood though this virus seems, so far anyway, to have a relatively low death rate. I know this is of no consolation to victims of it, and I am taking it very seriously. It is though easy to get pulled down into despair, I doubt that when we look back in a years time that 2020 will be much above average for total yearly deaths. I apologise to any that read this as my being uncaring, Iβm not. Anyway, Happy birthday Thunderboat, may all that sail in her be safe π€π»

Rog Thank you x My son has handed the children back today to their Mother who is now out of quarantine, thankfully in time for Elisa's birthday so at least he gets a break for a couple of weeks, he's had them for nearly four weeks since Maria's father died and never been out of the flat. He has done a magnificent job and when I hear the naysayers downgrading all this as hype I get a bit annoyed.

Of course I would, now that I have permission to do so. This is dependant upon me being around of course.

You'll be back with them soon I hope Rog
