The timelapse function on my camera will do a 5 hour lapse - I could film that for you and you could watch it in 20 seconds.
(We caught Mr Magpie on a 2-hour timelapse).

You only have one life, donβt waste it - especially as the end may be nearer than you think! Learn something new, donβt just sit around.
Today I had a 2 hour Zoom meeting with BGA (gliding) airspace committee, 10:00 to 12:00. Lunch and doctors (tv, not the real ones) then 14:30 I gave a 1 hour 20 min lecture /presentation to some trainee instructors at our club (over Zoom). 10 mins for a cuppatea then another Zoom meeting with a group setting up a training programme for glider pilots to get radio licences, lasted about an hour. Another cup of tea and one of Jeffβs freshly baked empire biscuits, watched Pointless and then out for a 1hr walk, just got back in. Iβm knackered!

I've spent my whole life sitting around waiting for it to end. Not about to give up the habit of a lifetime CBA I believe its called.

Damn! If only I possessed your insouciant wit!Β Well it certainly Stunned @socks into silence. I've been out in the garden, completely drained the pond, split the water plants, rescued a variety of critters, taddies, snails, a dozen frogs and Find of The Day - a newt. Removed the mud, Refilled pond with clean rainwater and put the critters back. Just ordered a small 12v submersible pump, going to rig up a battery and solar panel with a controller, see how it does keeping a small waterfall going.

Could get you into hot water with the eco-loons. They know where you live?

Listen to a water tank filling.
