Well it certainly Stunned @socks into silence. I've been out in the garden, completely drained the pond, split the water plants, rescued a variety of critters, taddies, snails, a dozen frogs and Find of The Day - a newt. Removed the mud, Refilled pond with clean rainwater and put the critters back. Just ordered a small 12v submersible pump, going to rig up a battery and solar panel with a controller, see how it does keeping a small waterfall going. You want to be careful mentioning newts. Could get you into hot water with the eco-loons. They know where you live? Newts?? The above is so true. Now you know you have newts you must not interfere with their home, this means you must not touch your pond for the next 50years. Bet you wished you had not told anyone now.....

With the lockdown lasting another few weeks yet and me feeling a bit down, I decided to embark on a bit of ‘shopping therapy’ for some new gear ready for when the pubs open again. I was made up when Next had a display simulating just how Id look crawling home from the local boozers opening night!👍 Certainly got my custom. 🙂

I spent a lot of time in Ukraine in the mid-1990s, so much so that I became quite familiar with the Ukrainian tongue.

Ken Follet , well researched as always Being quite bored just now, I've read about why Childers was executed. Considering the plot of 'Eye of the Needle', do I detect a hint of sympathy for the Fenians?
