This evening's sunset from the little harbour at Himankakylä where we used to launch our boat for heading into the Rahja archipelago:  and yesterday's sunset from Hillilä, just up the Kannus road:  I also filmed a woodpecker from our kitchen window this afternoon: |

This evening's sunset at Niskankoski - the rapids on our river just up the road. Not the greatest of pics, but the 1-hour timelapse isn't too bad with dramatic filter enhancing the grey clouds scudding past. And in another week or two the sun will be much more over to the right, so might be worth going back. I can read something in the car whilst the camera does its magic. Or stick pins into the little effigy I made of charles-perkwunos.  Wish you were here? |
