I'm generally a sociable person but I tend to avoid other people due to not wanting to get into annoying situations. Sometimes one has to recognise one's own weaknesses or lose the game.
However despite being a little bit reclusive I have to admit that in the last few weeks I have not strictly kept to the 2m distancing requirement. There are times when I have been within approximately a metre of another human. Excluding family I mean.
I know it's bad and I know it has probably killed untold numbers of other people but it's just how it happened. I did try.
I am very upset and hate myself for it but remaining socially distant from all other people has proved to be an elusive dream for me. I can't see this improving in the medium or long term without doing the transatlantic boat trip which is pencilled in for mid may.
I hope the community will forgive me for my sins and we can move on, together but more distant.
I feel there should be some state rewards for using internet forums for social interaction. Maybe some sort of credit system.
Does anyone else have any social distancing confessions here?
You will be forgiven.

In all honesty we haven't been within 2 metres of anyone in the past 4 weeks and 2 days. Oh, I lie - the Witch went to the hairdresser last week. Damn. Now I have probably got it.

Bless me father for I have sinned...
Not intentionally - just circumstantially... whilst out walking on the the towpath, there have been occasions when being 2-3 feet away from folk was inevitable... I didn't sneeze, cough or spit at them - just walked on by saying a cheery hello and trying not to breath in...
I think they'll live.
I've also stuck a plaster on the forehead of an old biddy sitting on a bench with a cut head - what would I do? ... she was sniffling in to her hanky but had I not wiped her wound and applied aforementioned plaster, I'd had been a total shit. ' Common sense, compassion and humanity is JUST important in these times... at least thats what I think.

That's not fair ... @magnetman 's masculine charm, and animal allure is bound to draw all people to him ... women want to be with him ... men want to be him ... the fate of all secret service super heroes I'm afraid. Who other than manic depressives and sado masochists would want to be in listening range of naughtyfox ? Rog

I haven't been close to any humans, apart from checkout operatives at Aldi. I have however broken the exercising 'guidelines'. Sometimes once a day just isn't enough. In my defence though, I do this in such a way that I don't go close to anyone, so my conscience is clear, your honour.
I also regularly break at least 3 CRT 'guidelines' but that's OK innit, it's not law, and again, the transgressions are carried out with due regard to what we're trying to do here i.e. keep as far away from other people as possible.

Who other than manic depressives and sado masochists would want to be in listening range of naughtyfox ? Morning Squire! You tagged? I thought this amusing (in today's papers): "shop's should of only aloud customer's one toilet role at a time and only sell them another when they bring back the inner cardboard core to prove its finished" "Are you for real?"

I try to keep social distancing but it is not always possible....shops are difficult...I hope Tescos will forgive yesterdays transgression...I went the wrong way ..they had directional arrows..they pointed them out and I got to the end of one aisle and went back the way I came cos I'd forgotten something... If i walk the cliff path I have to scale the edges to keep my distance and its not always possible... We r all human and humans are flawed with imperfections and some of us never quite get stuff right.

They say every 'dog has its day' ... I think this must be mine. I've always looked better at a distance ... Jane suggests the optimum is about two and a half miles. I did get Jane to come near me once, and I've clung on like a limpet ever since. Some of us definitely have faces made for social distancing Rog

Except that I have previously deleted my profile 3 times when I felt my verbosity was increasing dangerously.
