From alerts we've received I believe some are on restricted or booked passage only ... but Caen Hill is locked up (I seem to recall).

Are any locks actually closed. I hope so otherwise all the water wouid run into the sea... I think the CRT notices are still accurate. Some liveaboards need to transit locks to get to utilities which include visiting boatyards for emergency repairs.

Several locks on the Thames are for pre-booked passage with a good reason.
These include Cookham and Hambleden.
The reason for the latter is that bank protection works on the downstream layby were never finished due to the river conditions so the layby is bare concrete with sawn off studs sticking out rather than a wooden edge.
Could cause a lot of damage to a splitter.
Sunbury is also officially closed due to a sunken wide beam above the weir. However I believe lock is passable and this is just the EA covering themselves against an accident.

Certainly down here it seems that the flights which have volockies are locked and the rest are not. Saying all that I'm pretty sure boats have used the flight.
