In almost every way Im loving it.....
Still in work every night and gone on call for emergency maintenance during the day (3 callouts this week π) so making a good wedge and keeping the boredom at bay.
Traffic is unbelievably quiet apart from selfish bell ends who think the βstay homeβ request doesnβt apply to them and insist on going out taking pics of sunsets and generally driving round aimlessly spreading their shite everywhere! ππ
I estimate Im saving Β£700 a month on not going out on the piss /dating and not going putting petrol in cars etc. Im cooking proper meals, eating better & imbibing less which can only be good for me in the long run.π
Downside, which is getting harder by the day, is not seeing Ms Berg, shes in a high risk group so Iβm not willing to put her welbeing at risk for the sake of a get together, also missing time with my wonderful daughters..π Thats really starting to have a negative effect, which usually results in me working more, as above, which has always been my way of coping with things.π
Each to their own, everyone copes their own way!

I'm going to have a word with Evangeline about us cutting your words short.
We'll get this fixed.

I am sanguine ... although I have to confess to being intrigued by the opportunity to see Mr Stabby with his head done in Rog

I bet you're not an old git like most of us? Fair play to you. You're DOING something....not talking about it...(much).

I wondered Mr Stabby if the lads were both well ... I know one is a hospital worker. Rog Yes, they're both fine. Charlie, who works in A&E came up for a visit early last month and Sam was going to come up the following weekend but that was the week that the lockdown started so he couldn't. Obviously, having worked all Winter I was hoping to be away cruising now but that has gone up the Swannee, I can't even work because DVLA won't process my vocational licence until this is over, although I doubt the agency has much work anyway. apparently 46% of UK registered trucks have been parked up now.

Jane tells me C&RT have just announced that we all get an extra month on our licence ... and it will be reviewed as this goes on. Glad the lads are okay. I wonder how they're going to reintroduce us all ... I guess work first. I hope they relax the travel and socialising restrictions ... at least with family Rog
