Before lockdown we were preparing to relocate our leisure mooring to the GU Leicester Line. With this in mind several marinas were emailed to get an idea on availability and cost. WMickeyfield were one such marina but they have never replied even though I sent polite chasers - strange seeing as they are advertising the marina and moorings in the boating press. This is not the first time emails to WMickeyfield have gone unanswered and I wonder if I am missing something (I am using the published email address which corresponds to that on their website). Is there anybody on there who is familiar with the business and communicating with it?
Thanks

Refuse to - they advertise a contact method and they should therefore use it. In any event I wanted the reply in written (well typed) format. Why is the name of the business changed when I submit the post?

Why is the name of the business changed when I submit the post? Someone, be it Proboards or D9, not sure, decided that when Sir EL TON Jo-hn had a super-injuction out, that it was verboten to even mention his name. It gets auto - replaced with Mickey Mouse. High time that bit of stupidity was removed, IMO especially as it replaces that string of letters even if it within another word, and it can be easily circumvented as above.

Nick, I quite like it, it is the kind of quirky left over that I love seeing ..... bit like cream phone boxes in Hull, or paying 6 horseshoes an axe and 61 nail as rent for some property that nobody knows exactly where it is located

For someone not familiar with the issue/ new to the forum etc, it must be annoying.

I don't have any complaints and I only left there because I struggled solo and I couldn't really cope with the Watford flight one way and the big locks the other..there was no-where I just go myself.
