You Know it makes sense. Extend Transition: Focus on beating the Coronavirus Deadline to agree EU transition extension is 30th June. UPDATE 21st April 2020: 64% want transition extended ‘until the crisis is resolved’ The British people have made their priorities clear. A large majority of the public want the government focused entirely on the crisis at hand, shown by Best for Britain's latest polling. Trade bodies, the Scottish and Welsh governments, and the IMF Managing Director have all urged the government to do the right thing and seek an extension. Extending transition to allow the UK to focus on Coronavirus is also supported by 44% of Conservative voters, as well as over a quarter of Brexit Party voters. Add your name to the petition now, add your support for keeping our priorities clear and fixing Coronavirus first. Invisible enemy We are at war with an invisible enemy. We must all fully support the government in working to protect people and businesses. Given that Public Health England suggests up to 80% of us could get sick, it is absolutely right that the government mantra is that it will do ‘Whatever It Takes’. What we cannot do is tackle this global crisis while simultaneously trying to replace all our existing trading relationships. Sign below to commit your support to reports that the government is considering extending the transition period www.bestforbritain.org/transition-coronavirus?utm_campaign=20may5_inactive_5&utm_medium=email&utm_source=b4b

and there's me thinking Brexit done and dusted..... It is but Jim can't let go, presumably he still thinks there's hope for another vote if it can be delayed long enough.

Whilst I agree with you Jim (for a short extension of negotiations due to exceptional circumstances - length to be decided once our superb Government has got us out of the current mess they have exacerbated), I'm not too sure you will get much support here...................

I know, all the tumbleweed blows to the right here. They can't change if they don't know about it can they. I see we are yet to have a visitation from potty mouth. 😂😂😂😂🤡

"The Focaldata poll, commissioned by cross-party campaign group Best for Britain and HOPE not hate, comes ahead of the first of three newly scheduled negotiating rounds between the UK and the EU." Well well well. An opinion poll commissioned by an anti-Brexit campaign group produces an anti-Brexit result. Who'd a thunk it?

What po-faced pillocks at the Dully Fail. The dead don't care. It helps the living cope with an awful situation. They can dance to Blackpool and back with me, if they want. I'm just appalled my last joke will be missed if there a limit on numbers. I want this playing as my coffin goes through the curtain into the oven.

Before pushing for an extension consider the EU is thinking of having a centralised fund to support the huge cost many EU countries are facing. To fund this they want to greatly up the EU budget for the next few years, if we extend into next year, we will have to contribute ’our’ share, and we are already one of the largest contributors. Knowing that sooner or later we will exit the EU, I am sure certain countries will be pushing to make our ‘extra support’ contributions to this special budget as big as possible. Personally I would rather spend the money rebuilding OUR economy rather than supporting Italy, France, etc. But maybe I am selfish............

Come on Jim, be reasonable. That's 7 fucking minutes long. How about the Benny Hill theme for 1 minute? Well then, put the coffin back on the trolley, or better still, on 6 shoulders and dance about. Best not drop me or I'll haunt you. 👻 Anyway, I've got a blister on the end of my pointy reading finger from your twaddle. 😋

I'm sure the poorer countries in the EU will be delighted by this fund. Get the other countries to pay their 'corona virus bills', keep getting paid to be members, what's not to like?

Yes, you can bet your bottom dollar that shitholes like Albania, Moldova and Ukraine are just itching to "take advantage of eu membership". Unfortunately Jim "nice but dim" doesn't see what the other side of the coin is here...
