If only, as I have some amazing 90% chocolate with a hint of mint ..... would work wonderfully with those raspberries.

Tis a far, far better thing I do, than I have done before ... offering to share trifle ... not a trifling offer.
It does look scrummy.

I want to know how people eat them...
Jam plus cream or cream plus jam, not interested.
Do you daintily break/cut them apart and add jam n cream to a smallish bit or do you cut them in half, shove all the cream n jam in, put the top back on and laugh as the 'sandwich' explodes when you bite into it?
NO Jam No cream.... Warm with butter....

Once more: www.pdfdrive.com/There was an article which listed the '100 best books' of all time...I tried to collect all of them...I got about 85%. Admittedly not as satisfying as an actual book, a Kindle (a worthy toy of the computer age) is surely a must-have for the off-grid lifestyle...any text you can download can be converted from whatever format it is in to the Kindle format for a cost of zero pounds. For those of you who have not used a Kindle, its a surprisingly pleasant way to read e-books. The one with the backlight is great for reading in bed... There are other sources of free books too - www.gutenberg.org is but one.

I have tried ... but I like books.
If this carries on I may have to resort to downloading ebooks again ... but I really don't want to.
I do like book lists ... The Times frequently publishes such things which I find gets me to be more adventurous in my selection.

Delivery to us becomes an issue which I'm sure we could overcome ... but I like books, I don't buy online, so I'll be happy when charity shops reopen.

Being a major fan of them and somewhat reliant for apparel I have missed them. I wonder if they will have some problems with staffing in future bearing in mind it is quite often older people who do the work and if it's not older people then it is some other group who can afford to volunteer for this sort of thing. Perhaps they have found other more rewarding activities during lock down. The chancellor has hinted at this with the whole furlow situation. They have to be careful that people don't start to enjoy not having to go to work.
