If there isn't a spike in infections once the lockdown is eased I for one will be surprised. The virus is present and is probably not going away that easily. Saying that, SARS seems to have faded away to nothing.
I expect social distancing will become the new normal but it puts me off going to the supermarket. I suppose the staff must be getting more than the usual amount of abuse from Joe Public but last time I went things seemed quite hostile.

I've not been into a supermarket in 6 weeks. Usual behaviour was once every day or two. Been on a beer, pasta, bacon diet for ages. And some tomatoes and sausages from Nisa local.
I'm not going to stand outside queueueueing.

I've also mostly been using the local shop. Interestingly, since they mostly sell processed garbage I don't like, this has prompted a shift to a far more fruit and veg based diet.

The next thing people will be eating home grown food maaan. I would if I had any sort of a garden. But I want to lose some weight and eating mostly veg seems to be a good start. As soon as the shops re-open I have resolved to buy a bicycle.

Surely you have a roof? I don't live on a boat, Met. Poor life-choices I guess. Also I like cabbage - great with a dadger of hoisin sauce...

Finely shredded cabbage, sprinkling of chinese five spice and hoisin sauce - deep fry = crispy seaweed - yum yum.

Cabbage is my least favourite vegetable - but, as you say, can be embellished (as with much in life!). Enjoy your new bike and new healthier lifestyle x

Enjoy your new bike and new healthier lifestyle x Pedalling is the only form of exercise I ever enjoyed. When I was younger I was quite keen. I'll just have to see if there's anything left in the pot. I quit smoking a while back and suddenly anything seems possible.
