Just back from a good run out on my motorbike. Was great to be out doing something I enjoy, just because I could. There are lots of cars and people wandering around. Work places that I passed seemed to have reopened as well. Zig zagged along the Ashby canal bridges, a few boats moving. All in all, if I’d just woken up, with no knowledge of covid I might never had known anything had changed. I’ve a feeling that the next week or 2 is going to shape our future. Feels as though we have lit the rocket fuse, and we will have to wait and see if it flys in the right direction. Tomorrow I am going for a short cruise. Life seems somewhat brighter right now, my fingers are firmly crossed.

Now wash your hands Glad that the clouds are beginning to show their silver lining. I'm sure the most 'dangerous' thing we do every week is supermarket shopping, but if everyone takes care of our own hygiene and keeps good distancing, all should be well. I just saw a report on the BBC announcing one in four hundred in England now have Covid19. On reading the piece, 11,000 people not in hospital or care homes were tested, and 33 proved positive ... hence the headline. I don't suppose it's as catchy to headline it '10,967 in every 11,000 prove negative'. Glad you enjoyed your day ... we're very fortune too and had a great day ... the evening yet to come. Rog

Rog Given up with the BBC. I’ve read similar, but on Sky news. Different figures and a better explanation. Hand washing not required, didn’t touch anything whilst out today. Was the same at our marina yesterday, all gates I needed to open are done by remote blipper. So I get to boat without any contact with anything. Good huh!
