So following the advice that we can have unlimited exercise and return to enjoying watersports ive got me arse into gear 🙈
Test firing of the Evinrude 4hp in the Wheelie bin at 09:00 - it hasn't run since August last year (laid up properly mind 👍)
Electric egg whisk retrieved from garage attic, battery has been on charge via that big yellow orb in the sky.
Load up for a 10:30am departure, bit of faffing about getting the Super Snipe in the drink and we are finally going to get a bit of boating in.
Will spend the day doing a bit of rowing practice and knobbing about with the outboards.
Utterly nuts we can fart about on a tiny plastic tender but can't cover the same ground on a motor cruiser 🤦♂️
Never mind - Ratty once mentioned something about messing about in boats in a dusty old book 😋🍻🚣🚣♀️🚣♂️🚤

Smacked botty's all round if you are not back in time for bedtime. No fear of breaching that clause - Mrs Gazza is in charge of driving - I strategically placed a case of beer on the boat yesterday 🍻 essential journey via the supermarket to check everything was in order 👍

Planet saving power - the battery has been on solar charge only peterboat it is way cheaper once the gubbins has been purchased than a constant diet of VPower (see below....) Beer guided tender 👍 like most small motorcycles; small boats go way better on inland waters when piloted with an amount of booze on board 🍻👍 Mrs Gazza didn't have to force a smile 🙈 This is the upstream approach of Brancy Brook to Aldwincle road bridge - built in 1760. Previously I had nudged the bow of the little Mayland 16 in the bridgehole but could get no further due to air draft restrictions. No such problems with the super Snipe! Sadly 2.5 up with an elderly 4hp motor and a roaring current upstream of the bridge meant we beat a hasty retreat within 50m; before the poor little Evinrude gave up the unequal struggle! Gratuitous selfie taken on the way back. The dwarf is supremely confident aboard her little ship - something that will need an eye keeping on to ensure it doesn't turn into complacency.... It felt great to be afloat, all be it for a short time and aboard a short little ship! Messing about in boats so all is right with the world 👍🍻

Looks like a great day, I am not jealous at all!
Give her 5 years and the dwarf will be doing this (after the spray tan and gender re-assignment):

Speaking of boating it looks like the salty pleasure boaters have been getting on with it. Pink for pleasure, so to speak. image uploaderIcons are vessels equipped with AIS transmitters. Not all boats are so there must be a lot more out there than just those ones. 9.15pm mid May and they are not allowed to stay overnight of course...

'Onest Guv, the wind dropped and the tide swept us miles out to sea and it took us hours and hours to get back. We were stuck for so long we ran out of Stella !!!
