I shan't be joining in. I don't join in with the other one either. Organised claps are a clever manipulation by socialists, getting people who are a bit thick but otherwise wouldn't dream of being socialists to apparently support the future socialist agenda of holding the government to ransom for large pay rises for so called key workers.

Since when was Katie Hopkins a socialist. She is a socialite. You have a bit of keeping up to do lad. I hope you don't have to suffer being cared for by "so called key workers". You might have to change your mind and thank them.

Nope ... never heard of her either. Either I read the wrong news reports ... or the right ones, depending on your point of view. Doesn't look like I missed anything significant Rog

The point I was making was that I don't believe it's healthy for our society to elevate the worth of certain groups of workers above others. There's already enough stratification in society, scales of 'worthiness' based on a number of factors. We don't need more of this, we need less. With few exceptions everyone's job is important to society but socialists with their 'key worker' or 'vital worker' mantras are simply causing more divides in society.

OK, so more people are currently depending on your skills as a landlord than the ITU nurse that lives across the road? A bit of self flattery happening round here? You really are getting a bit silly, blaming everything you don't agree with as socialist. "The term was used by the UK government during announcements regarding school shutdowns invoked in response to the Coronavirus disease 2019 to indicate parents whose occupations entitled them to continue sending their children to schools which were otherwise shut down by government policy, as well as teachers and LSAs at those schools." Ask him, ref, ask him😂😂😂😂

If you're house is burning it's a fireman. If you're house is being burgled it's the police. If we are being invaded it's the army. If you have no electricity it's an electrician. If you have a burst pipe it's a plumber .... and on and on and on (clowns however come pretty near the bottom of the list)

Sleazily attempting to align themselves with honest hard working people who they also don't help when in power.
