Still a good experiment though.
I mean good for those who can benefit from it.

Anyway those unused Nightingale hospitals are still there.[/quote]
That's because they have kept us all in for weeks while they prepare for the second wave which is coming after 'lockdown'. Each Nightingale can hold 4 to 5 thousand patients They didn't go to that expense for nothing!!!!

I had quite a chat with my Consultant at Liverpool Aintree Hosp earlier - he calls me every now and again to see how I'm doing rather than wasting our time with an outpatient appointment.
He said they were prepared and have coped far more easily than they expected but isn't happy about not being able to operate, particularly on his cancer patients (not me). He's wishing to get back to normal asap and didn't seem concerned about a second wave though agreed it would be bad in terms of more delays for his regular patients and of course those that died.
Overall I got the impression that ventilating people had mostly just delayed the inevitable for those it was going to succumb, and that numbers helped to recovery by hospital treatment were small fry compared to the damage done to those whose treatment has been delayed. He wants to get back to work and if necessary stop again if there's a second wave... and the policy hasn't changed by then.

I don't understand why dentists aren't working in the UK. Have you all gone nuts? Stories of people pulling their own teeth? Dentists are still working as per normal here in Finland. Because most of them are very rich psychopaths who enjoy inflicting pain on others - they like hearing stories of people pulling their own teeth - rub hands with glee at the thought of future profits!
I just might hate dentists...

There doesn't seem to be a second wave in China and by all accounts they don't give much of a flying [d]uck about social distancing. I like it that you think the government set up the Nightingqale hospitals from a position of sheer prescience. Anyway, I know I feel this way because the weather has turned nice and we all want to enjoy it. Just an aside - during the war the government tried to ban the use of Underground stations as bomb shelters. But sheer weight of numbers blew that idea away.

They are a bunch of tossers. Last time I visited one he spent ages picking away at one tooth that he pronounced 'fine'. Guess which one is now in dire need of attention? At least it doesn't hurt. Even before the virus, dentists were always hyper-sensitive about hygiene. I suspect that oral infections are more dangerous than we think. Even after they start operating again its going to be hell to get an appointment.

Never tried aspirin..its not a hole though but mass of cracks over external surface but guess could have a go at crushing into a paste.... Yeah want it out, just don't see the point in keeping it as I cannot eat that side.

If swelling too bad then keep an eye on it (but suspect you know the score better than me on that one...).
