Fine ... a bit peed off you accuse me of not reading the thread I started, when actually it's you that's been unclear about what you do ... I believe the term is 'deliberately vague'. No real info given about the 'composting', and caught with pants down throwing the contents of his bog into CRT bins which CRT states is not allowed. Still.... for all those who tip theirs into the Elsan holes, do you have any idea of what happens to it afterwards, where it all ends up? Out of sight out of mind is my motto

I think this thread is a perfect example of why this issue isn’t worth discussing on here. The two people that have used dry toilets for years and say they are okay are ignored and all the usual judgmental dogmatic bollocks is spouted by the usual idiots and it drowns out the actual practical experience people have with these toilets.Even the op who has Ostensibly asked a question to find out? Ignores the people with experience and just puppets the idiots. I think that the 7 posts preceding this would indicate that there is probably only 1 poster producing judgemental bollocks .... but then he does that about everything

I will speak to the folks with the Simploo ... prices are similar ... emptying once every three weeks (ignoring liquids) has its appeal ... but either way I'll post what we do. Rog Very convenient, avoids the smelly elsan hole, but not sure Royal Mail allow it. They may make an exception for posting to Finland.

Give him a break.
He lives in one of the most uninhabitable countries on earth with a witch and drives schoolkids about in a bus on icy roads with the ever present danger of ending up in a ditch (not the watery type).
And has a narrow boat with a red dot where the engine is supposed to be and an oil change fetish.
What a life.
I don't think I could tolerate this personally. And being autistic is terrible trust me.

God, Andrew ....... I just wish he would give us one
It's been incessant recently, I mean 7 posts in a row ..... that's a whole bloody page of scribbles.
When he writes his own sensible posts it's fine ...... but the rest .......
As you probably know, I have defended him many times on the forum and I like the man but he's driving me nuts with it at the moment

Do your self a favour John, put him on ignore. It’s definitely the way forward, you can’t avoid him totally. (People still seem to want to quote him.) But it makes the forum more useable and pleasant.

I expect it would be more pleasant for other boaters not to have to lift the lids of CRT Biffa bins only to be met by the stench of dry toilet waste that other boaters have dumped in them, despite CRT having a rule against this sort of thing.

Dry toilet waste doesn't stink. Keep up lad.

He’s showing classic signs of severe frustration since he hasn't had his normal views from his school bus to occupy his mind, plus the harsh realisation that he isn’t really as important to as he likes to think in the whole scheme of things! Upon returning to work, along with pretty much everyone else In Finland, he has, from the safety of his drivers seat, regained said views and the authority he craves to issue such commands as ‘sit down’ and ‘no messing around please’.🙄 This has resulted in a ‘frenzy’ of activity as he tries to empty his tanks of all the material stored up in his mind due to above lockdown situation! Im sure normal service may resume shortly! 🙂
