A tiny leak over a good while lead to the plywood under the shower floor rotting, plastic shower pan cracking. I set about the job 2 days ago, couple of hours each day, had to dismantle the wardrobe and bathroom walls.
Got to get the plywood tomorrow, ordered grp kit to re do the shower pan, then reassemble it all. The benefit of self fit out is I understand the jigsaw.

That's all very well but boats do not have walls.
ETA and it's a shower "tray" not "pan" or do you use it to dispose of the warm liquid waste?

Cars have floor pans not trays. It does dispose of warm liquid, I hate cold showers. They are walls, that is their original designation. Caravans have walls not bulkheads.

Comparing caravans with boats is a very weak form of argument.
Anyway I understand your car fanaticism looking at your cabin top ! I suppose you call that a roof !
And I expect those see through panels in the side are windows. Oh dear.

Wardrobe, toilet, kitchen sink cooker oven and cupboard unit, seats/beds. Simple and free. There are 5 portholes and 3 windows.

The cause is the thing to solve .... outside wall ... guttering ... fall pipe ... there's a reason, and it's usually something simple and obvious. Good luck. Rog

Rog Not an outside wall..its the adjoining wall with next door centre of house... previous owners got my neighbour to sort out all her rising damp, I suspect with the thought they then wouldn't have to bother(naughty)..they did some but not the alcove which houses fridge freezer or under the stair..or rather they partially did a little under stairs as u can see the line. There is some damp on the walls which are external and I know i need to waterproof paint the render but atm cannot be bothered with that
