I seem to have noted a general move towards people being more friendly to each other, albeit at a distance.
There is some chatter about people going back to human-human type social interaction and less indirect social media type interaction.
Is this good or does it mean we are all going to die early?
It could be the death knell for TB bearing in mind it relies on socially distant young gits once the socially distant old gits die out.

I seem to have noted a general move towards people being more friendly to each other, albeit at a distance. There is some chatter about people going back to human-human type social interaction and less indirect social media type interaction. Well.. Last Bank Holiday Monday, Mrs Berg and myself decided to flout the advice!
After 10 weeks of me knocking on her door then standing shouting sweet nothings to her across her front garden, we decided, with her being on her own in her house every day and me self isolating on my boat and working alone at night, that it was worth the risk to have a garden party involving Stella, Pinot and 2 glasses G & T!
We did similar again on Friday night, only I went for an Indian takeaway, we ate it across the dining room table and we both appear to have survived with our lives intact!
(Altho by posting this here and knowing how little Blakey has been curtain twitching lately, I appreciate Im putting myself at severe risk of a prison sentence or £40 fine when he dobs me in to the local Bizzies!)

Never mind that virus ... I emptied two cassettes at an elsan today ... still washing my hands.
It never ceased to amaze me how few blokes washed their hands after a loo visit in normal times ... but suddenly a pandemic and they're all epidemiologists ... even saw a guy arrive at Sainsbury's today, all alone in his car ... wearing a mask !
I read that long term mask wearing can in itself promote pnemonia, as you are inhaling moisture constantly ... we live in interesting times.

I've been boating all over the place and everyone seems to like me.
I blame the weather.
I even bought a beer for a bloke who helped me with a few locks. It's incredibly improbable that I will buy someone else a beer. Definitely something odd going on here.
I did mention that my SIS girls had checked and yes I am an asymptomatic carrier but he did not seem concerned and was happy to accept a cold beer in return for helping with a few lock gates.
I hope he doesn't die horribly as he was a nice bloke.

SOME folk are finally seeing a bit of commons sense in regards "SD" - (sounds like an STI) which is good - the pizza guy from Domnios who knocked on the boat Sunday night (switched from fish and chips to a pizza delivery last week) even abandoned the "contactless delivery" when taking his 2 quid tip, even stroked my hand with his... it's the closest I've come to a sex life in months!
Stepping away from that - even the good folks in Morrisons are now undoing the collar off the gin and handing it straight back to me... and unless my arms have grown, they are rarely even 1 metre away from me... I must look the epitomy of health... perhaps it my tetian locks and developing sun tan

WHO advice NOW is that at 2m you stand a 1.2% chance of catching the virus off an infected person ... at 1m that risk increases to 2.3% chance ... we're more at risk of getting run over it seems to me . We really need to move on now don't you think. By the way at quaysider ... embrace your fire engine blondeness as you get older ... don't be like some gentlemen here and disguise their advancing years ... no names you understand Rog

No waiting with your disinfected trolley until the man does you a massive favour by letting you in to buy their goods. There are still lines of masking take on the floor but these are looking slightly worn. As for those plastic screens that 'protect' the checkout operators, do these work? I'm sure it might protect them from the odd flying glob of spittle as a customer replies 'card' but otherwise, are they any use. Wouldn't it be better if the operatives wore full breathing gear?

Wearing masks with glasses does not work...u just get steamed up...little sis tells me she keeps having to move her mask down which kinda defeats the purpose. so all those till operative who wear glasses would struggle I haven't yet brought any ...I'm not sure how effective they are.

"Boris Johnson says he would 'willingly' offer all THREE MILLION people from Hong Kong visa-free refuge in the UK if China erodes human rights in the former British colony"
There will be less room to move in Britain once another 3 million have arrived = less social distancing. But this could be the answer to farmers' prayers, as a 'land army' is needed to keep the wealthy farmers in the luxury to which they have become accustomed. Move over, Romanians - you're about to see your pitiful wages undercut!

They only say that because the WHO is the mouthpiece of the Communist Party of China (allegedly) and the truth is it's 88.6% chance at 3.5 metres. Don't be lulled into a false security!
