I'm surprised you didn't react sooner...! Been watching and listening, it sometimes pays not to offload your arsenal without due reflection.

Where was the fuss earlier when black people were stabbing other black people in south London? Did 'black lives' not matter 6 months ago? Just another bandwagon for rich white students to hold up placards and show their virtue-signalling guff, and for the looting sprees to crack on.

The looting has been justified: Lives matter more than property. It should be 'life' really as to the best of my knowledge, only 1 black person has been murdered by a police officer of late. One person doesn't sound as good though.

"Riot is the language of the unheard"
"Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that"
Martin Luther King
He was murdered in 1968 ... have we moved forward at all ?

Pirkko was showing me live footage of the Black Wives Natter in Helsinki, mostly white youngsters and hipsters who will go back home to mummy and daddy and ask them for a new moped or BMW car. These teenagers didn't give a shit about Floyd two weeks ago. And now, what a great time for them all to gather in Senate Square with another 22 coronavirus cases confirmed today in the Helsinki region! Now a Helsinki University Hospital chief doctor says people living in Uusimaa (Helsinki region) should not travel outside it to spread the virus to other parts of Finland. Uusimaa is the worst hit area for Covid-19 and it now seems to be getting worse.

What gets me,is that the majority of folk getting involved with marches etc have no idea of social distancing.Plus,we know what happened was seriously bad,but why are folk getting involved when they actually aren't quite sure what's going on ?I get the impression many folk are getting involved just to be...involved.

It's cool to fit in. If one lemming jumps off a cliff others will follow, just to seem cool.

I remember the Lemmings computer game. That was really funny.
Going back a few years. Never played any computer games at home but a friend was well into it.

No. This was a 'black on black' murder and as such holds no interest whatsoever to the baying mob. They can't protest against this, it would be racist wouldn't it? A number of 'rules' I gleaned from listening to the BBC yesterday. 1/ Any white person who doesn't 'call out' racism is a racist 2/ A black person is free to ignore racism themselves, if 'calling it out' might adversely affect their career 3/ Only white people can be racists 4/ All white people should study racism to understand how black people have researched it and broken it down into different component parts. None of these component parts can be questioned in any way, that would be racist. For example, no white person should ever apply 'tone racism' to any situation involving a black person. This would be racist. Any bystander witnessing the 'tone racism' is duty bound to 'call it out'. If not, they are also a racist. People not knowing what 'tone racism' isn't an excuse. After all, not knowing the law is no defence when breaking the law, right?

I think this is worth a watch - hypocrisy on steroids. Why are the authorities not banning such large gatherings? Yet the Police can fine you for sitting on a train for a 'non-essential' journey if they feel like it. Yet you can drive 100 miles to a beach in your car.

What's happening in London at the moment is disgusting. The animal behaviour simply undermines the issue they are supposedly trying to highlight. The Corbyn factor has helped play a huge part in all that's bad at the moment. The hatred and vile behaviour promoted and displayed by Corbyn and momentum has caused nothing but division and controversy. The guy died after a run in with the American police, we don't know the whole story, but msm and certain political activists have made him a hero, even though he was a known criminal who had himself caused misery and fear for others. Why the f certain people over here are openly taking it out on our own police is beyond me. Just animals looking for anything to get attention. Ridiculous situation.

Well the anti brexit gatherings have pretty well had their day, that's now yesterdays news. This is a great a new cause to march and protest about (especially if you are not at school/college/university because of the risk of catching covid 19 in the crowd) What's not to like and the fuzz are always the enemy of the protesting classes
