Someone who prepares frozen foods, (including a few undersized chips) is not a chef, more likely someone who drifted in to catering via the Jobcentre. Sadly often the norm in the UK. Every French housewife and chef in every country pub provides a main meal of three beatifully presented courses of food fresh from the market, it is a matter of pride, and is the norm. When were you in France last? Half of my relatives are french, things have changed and not for the better! As for the pub it earlier this year provided a lovely home cooked meal, as Patty says maybe things have gone wrong? We need to give them all time to get back to normal...sons ex partner is restarting at the veggie restaurant and she's now got so many hours to work that she's not happy... She's lucky she's still got a job.
