A lawyer for the woman who has accused the Duke of York of sexually assaulting her has said she wants the matter to be “resolved in a way that vindicates her and vindicates the other victims”.
It comes as the BBC reports David Boies, a lawyer representing Virginia Giuffre, also suggested his client would be unlikely to accept a purely financial settlement.
Mr Boies told the broadcaster: “I think its very important to Virginia Giuffre that this matter be resolved in a way that vindicates her and vindicates the other victims. I don’t think she has a firm view as to exactly what a solution should be.”

Personally I think the US prosecuters should be told to piss off, unless they hand Anne Sacoolas over to the UK for prosecution in the hit & run murder case of Harry Dunn I agree with the sentiment but the instance would have been better dealt with by refusing the extradition of Julian Assange. The UK does seem to just roll over whenever the USA says the word. Incidentally, she is likely to have been handed just a paltry fine and a driving ban. Also, Saccolas is now to face a 'virtual' appearance in a UK court. Would you really see the case against Andrew obstructed? It is likely to be the trial of the century if it goes ahead. And he could just skulk in Windsor and there would be nothing to touch him. It seems unlikely he will take that option though.

Driving on wrong side of the road is quite an easy mistake to make. Several years ago I returned to the UK after a highly stressful but quite short assignment abroad which involved a lot of driving and stressful situations. My head was all over the place and due to staffing problems I was not properly debriefed and was allowed to get in my own car and drive myself back to my UK destination. No beer or anything like that, just high level stress. Normally one would get a driver for this but there was a mix up. I drove myself and at one point I was on the wrong side of the road and a cyclist was approaching. Due to my mental state it took me quite a long time to process and I did manage to avoid the collision. I was lucky as did not have diplomatic immunity at the time. Cyclist was ok. I did check. Once, in Austria, somebody lent me a bicycle. I was thinking 'what is that looney driver doing' but realised the error in time.

I wonder if he will still live in the rather fabulous Royal Lodge or will he be banished to a penthouse in the awful Kensington.

He owns the lodge, I think. Queenie appears to have made the changes so that Andrew no longer represents the monarchy or the UK in any capacity but he's not banished. Also in the event criminal charges are brought, as long as he remains in the palace confines (which includes the lodge) he is under queenie's protection and cannot be arrested.

Yes, it all hinges on that really. If she was tied up, had her mouth taped up with Duck tape, was placed into a luggage trunk and then shipped around the world to be an unwilling plaything of the rich and powerful then that is obviously a Bad Thing. But it may be that she was asked "Would you like a job? You travel all around the world, visit fashionable hotspots, and get paid well. In return you have to get your knickers off for men you don't actually fancy". And she said "Yea, cool!" It largely hinges on this. If it was the latter and she subsequently came to regret her decision then there isn't, or shouldn't be, a legal case to answer.

I'd really like to be stripped of my responsibilities while keeping the allowances and house.
It seems a bit naff to have to do all the bullshit associated with being a royal.
Not sure why it would be 'punishment' to not be allowed to wear all that nonsense clothing while having to behave like a twat.
I suspect this prince Andrew geyser has actually ended up in quite a good situation.
I suppose the shitters with cameras are probably patrolling all 3 road exits from the lodge.
Maybe escaping in an Amazon van is the thing to do.

And of course at 17 she was below the age of consent in some states (can’t remember if she claims to have been shagged by him in one of those states)
