Don't fancy a pub this weekend-it could be manic...or it could be a damp squib depending on how peeps feel. We're looking forward to a pint in a sunny beer garden without giving bra sizes, inside leg measurements & a sperm sample(obviously not me for the last one).

Strange to say - YES! Pirkko's re-union of school mates for the first time in 50 years this evening, although socialising outside on the terrace and not sat inside breathing in everyone's Covid19-riddled exhaled breath. Better keep the car running in case there are drunken punch-ups and we need a quick getaway.

I am going to my local later. Mainly to say hi to old friends, also to put some money behind the bar.

For some it will be literally "last orders" this weekend as they will be taking home more than they bargained for.

Some will get knocked down on their way there and back ... if you maintain your hygeine and distance as much as possible I think the risks are no greater than heart attack, stroke, being hit by falling parachutist Life's risky innit. Rog

Scottish Lives Matter!
No pubs open in Scotland. We have a history and culture of not drinking alcohol up here. Apparently.
So we are off to Englandshire on Monday, out on the boat Tuesday (heading for Stratford) and I’m hoping for a pint at the Dodgy Doublet (Curdworth flight) on Tuesday afternoon. So no to the poll as it says “weekend”.

Rog I know this is American but the risks can't be that different. You see what is the highest risk I am trying to keep belowvlevel 3 but C insists we have to do one 5 and a 6 this week by visiting her friend for dinner and going to see her mum.

No. I prefer my own company to that of loudmouths, who have very little to say, unless they're drunk.

Well there’s a chart full of nonsense.

Fortunately I'm not so needy for company as to foist myself onto a group of strangers, just so I can talk to someone. Plenty of people along the canal for that. Anyway, I can't afford to go to the pub.
