Well, maybe the Indian police should beat up all their corrupt politicians. I don't think Indian politicians are corrupt, in the scheme of things. If you want to see corruption go further east in Asia or south west to Africa, or west to Central and South America.

Or just look at the Tory government here. If you really think the current government is corrupt (in the scheme of things) take a trip out to Argentina, Colombia or South Africa. If you can't be arsed travelling so far a trip to Lebanon or Italy would do instead. It would give you a difference perspective of the meaning of 'in the scheme of things'.

I think most governments are corrupt whatever colour they are. The torys have ploughed billions into projects/companies run by their mates with no visible returns is this corruption or incompetence? As for my political leanings I have always voted Tory until 2019. Now there is no one I feel represents my political views.

It's a desperate attempt to stop capitalism from imploding. Ferry company with no ferries PPE from a company with no track record in that field and many more. However Sunak is at least trying to get it right and seems more honest than the rest of the party

For sure. Incompetence and desperation rather than corruption, I'd suggest.

I think you are dead right there patty whatever someone in government says or does there will always be those in the opposition that claim it is wrong. You do wonder though, if they are as competent as they are vocal.

Its a frightening time and i sort of admire the folks who take responsibility and make decisions... they will be judged as are referees at a footy match...not for me that degree of flack

I think he's got a pair. He's done things that have never been needed before.Strange times, strange decisions, strange answers to life's problems. We live in unusual times at the moment & we have to expect that there'll be odd things happening which we don't expect.Bet he has trouble sleeping at night or wakes up really early in the morning.😆My worries seem trivial in comparison.
