Anyone who sees a cool boat and gets a photo please post it here. This is one of the coolest boats on the Thames. Quite an old riveted steel tug boat. Small but very capable. Now seems to be owned by Salters of Oxford. I remember it working on the River in the 90s as part of one of the riparian owner service companies doing bank repair works. It's got a 6 pot in there I think it's a Thornycroft (Leyland I guess) but could be a ford 6D. Or may have been repowered. I just like the way it is so small and unassuming yet so capable of doing the job. Lovely.

Phil They are (normally) used by Salters as passenger trip boats in addition to their large steamers. I assume they are out of water on account of the covid shutdown.

Nice
Taylors of Chester?
Or maybe Dobson's of Shardlow.
Nice to see these being cared for.
