Like the ghost of boats past ... looks quite mysterious ... would love to see the boat when it was in its glory. Rog

Hasn't Grendon always had that feel .........?
My only issue is when Kangaroo thunders past and does just that - I still have the boomeranged piling hook somewhere, I'm sure.
Aren't you heading the wrong way for Saltisford, Rog?

Had two shiny new boats in the dock today being worked on, and a third waiting to go in ... busiest I've ever seen the place.
Three weeks to reach Warwick so a gentle plod via Braunston as we may well be spending some dosh at the chandlers.

Rog The brass d section on the rubbing strakes would make your eyes water if you had to replace it - a little birdie told me a tale of a chap who had spent £2k on screws and nails for a wooden wonder; you’ve got to be committed/certified for going balls deep into wooden boat ownership 😯

Locked up with no one about, so I don't know the story ... but the boat is immaculate.
Full time job to keep it that way I would guess.

Beautiful boat don't you think ? I wouldn't want to own it, but it is stunning. Rog Its the same one I put up on page 4 of this thread, now being hired out as a day boat on facebook, problem is all they are doing is moving it between marston and Hawkesbury, guessing coupled with the fact they don't have a home mooring and not moving enough over the year, they will lose it next year to the evil clutches of CRT. thunderboat.boards.net/thread/6575/cool-boats-thread?page=4Same as the boat moored behind it, blue boat that moves between Hawkesbury and martson, owners claims he cant move anymore as he sufferers from Irritable bowel syndrome and cant cruise for no more than an hour...
