So many shows are up against the hard times that Covid has precipitated, but at least they are diversifying by offering the shows online with each dealer being allocated a page. I used to attend the shows back in the day but when I moved onto the boat I had no room for stock and so now only make the railway models.
I did make one of these models with, instead of the train, a narrowboat travelling round a country scene complete with retired shire horse and a thatched pub and gardens, that was quickly sold to an American buyer.

I do mean the scaled down versions of real items such as boats. There are some wonderful boat models in the Museum of London Docklands.
Nice to see it.
I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?
The mini railway makes me think about that time of year I shouldn't be thinking about yet...it's lovely.I'd loved to have seen the canal model as well.😊
There's a lot of people thinking about that time of year.... I believe this year I will be 'at home'....the travel booked with my old friend and his son will prob be cancelled. Where ever I am will be just fine..
