Across from the Wedgwood factory, T&M at Barlaston and it's a cloudless blue sky, still baking hot (32 degrees in the boat still) and not a breath of wind. No headache either Rog

Desperately in need of some cooling influence here. 9pm and inside boat is still 32 degrees, humidity through the roof! I was pretty much the only boater still boating today, when I came to moor up, asking a boater to move one ring up was met with the reply 'no it's too hot to move'... 'plus ever since I moved onto this mooring a week ago everyday I've been asked to move up a bit' - it's a rare 72hr mooring on rings in this part of the world....... She moved.......
Staying put tomorrow as don't fancy Caen Hill in this weather...

Hmm Discuss. And let's not get onto the entitled idiot problem Actually, the hours thing is a bit misleading. On a 48 hour mooring, all this means is that you can only be spotted on the mooring three times by the CRT data logger before there is an issue. Obviously if you know what time he makes his rounds, and time your arrival and departure accordingly then you can stay for almost four days with impunity,

Yes but all CRT owned moorings are 14 days by definition isn't it.
