I've long been used to sharing my accommodation with the occasional spider, but right now there seems to be an explosion in their population. Of course, I continue to peacefully co-exist with them- it's as much their boat as it is mine- but as I brush yet another cobweb out of my hair I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed a sharp increase in arachnid numbers at the present time?

Obviously the ready availability of food in the form of blood and body parts will make your boat very appealing to spiders.

Well behaved spiders here - they mostly tidy up their webs themselves and move along. I throw them out of the window if they dare to dangle down above my head in bed.
