Who actually cares with if we ignore terms of the deal with the EU. France do it all the time. Unsurprisingly the Americans would not be happy - the Irish vote is quite important...

but what say do the Democrats have in it? Quite a lot, especially if Trump looses the election. Irish votes matter in the USA and Trump knows this.

Trump won't lose the election. Coming from someone who predicted 9,600 UK deaths from Covid, I'm not sure I totally agree with your prediction!

Actually at one time China reneged on a trade deal with Britain. In the beginning, Britain wanted almost everything China had to sell, but conversely had nothing the Chinese wanted to buy. This made British people very sad. But one day the good people of Britain realised that there was a country that had a large amount of a consumer product that, once the appetite for it was stimulated a little with some free samples, the customers would really start to depend on you. So that made a nice trading circle. But one day the Chinese got upset that this element of the deal was destroying their society and decided to withdraw from the deal. Britain thought that was very naughty and decided to blast the living fucking shit out of the Chinese until they changed their minds (also, just to make sure the Chinese would be good from now on, the British said that a big bit of China was now British forever). Lets hope the Europeans are more civilised. Oil painting of the Chinese government being made to eat shit. Gold star. I have pointed this out a few times, that Britain forced the Chinese to become opium addicts. Ironic now, how Britain is begging China for loans now. You can't really blame China for wanting to get its own back. I'd nuke London... only, as John Cleese said, that's not part of England anymore... so how about some agreeable village in the Cotswolds instead? Oh no, I wrote something Fuxx approves of. Sorry about that. It was supposed to be about the dangers of suddenly withdrawing from trade deals and how this Brexit business will all end badly, not fuel for Ross' vile crap. Oh well.

Much like last time, the BBC is running its own agenda which tends to distort the UK perception of how things are in the USA. True, the Democrat candidate isn't as toxic as last time. But there's a huge element of the electorate whose political sophistication will never get past 'Make America Great Again'.

What - people in Ireland vote for the US President? Some do... And if you've ever seen the farce that is a Saint Patrick's day celebration in New York, you wouldn't doubt the reality of those who see themselves as primarily Irish despite the fact half of them probably couldn't even place Ireland on an atlas.
