The TV and my Facebook pages seem to be loaded with cringe worthy adverts imploring us to download the new NHS App to protect our families. I know some on here don't have compatible phones, but for those that do has anyone actually installed the app? I haven't, I don't want to and even if I wanted to, wouldn't know how. Neither do I want their immunisation if and when it comes along, they will need force to get me to comply, should it become mandatory. I wasn't born free to be corralled into all this bollocks. China is using facial recognition to track millions of Muslim citizens wherever they go: Saudi crown prince defends China’s use of internment camps for Uighur Muslims:

If the virus is so deadly, why are two police officers not wearing masks properly? Will they be fining themselves for: 1) not wearing a mask in public 2) ignoring the social distancing 'laws' Trafalgar Square today. Although, to me, a lot of the protesters strike me as being rather silly and deliberately provocative and out for trouble (and I think it is wrong for them to attack the police and cheer about it), I do understand their frustration when the police have let Dominic Cummings get away with his jaunt Up North (and did you see the way he had a little grin as he knew he's got off Scot-free?), Robert Jenrick get away with his travels around the country, Neil Kinnock's son get away with it, and Boris get away with it. Fines for everyone else, eh?

Yes we both downloaded it and then found out that it does not recognise NHS tests as valid tests, only tests done by its parent company Serco? count as valid. It also doesn't recognise previous tests only those since its inception So 75% of tests don't count it is a complete waste of time. Both of us have now deleted it. PS its not an NHS app they are just using the NHS banner.

I don't like Serco. It's an example of what is wrong with the world.

They still haven't fixed the check in / check out bit. It apparently needs manual tracers to see if you departed before the covid arrived

" 60% of Wales’ population will be in lockdown from 6pm tomorrow "
" In 2017 Public Health England figures show that there were 420,000 cases of sexually transmitted diseases diagnosed. Maybe we should ban all sex "

What actually happens if you download the app?
I have not attempted it but it seems to me to be quite an expensive thing if it suddenly put me in line for a two week self isolation which is impossible for me to achieve and would cost me £10,000.
Obviously this is pocket money for me but it still sticks in my craw slightly.
Why would anyone do this?

Apparently it's your civic duty to deprive yourself of your living, even if you don't fit within one of the groups that the government protects in this respect. I won't be downloading it.

Little sis tells me she's downloaded it...I just cannot quite bring myself to sign up to anything else that sparks of big brother... I'll wait n see what happens. Not sure even if I was in contact with a positive case what else I could do..
