Black sheep did a thread about it as well.
Some of the detail in there is pretty serious and will change the face of the canals I reckon.
It looks like CRT are playing hard ball.
Too many piss takers spoil the game.

Some of the changes they are proposing are very draconian, I’d suggest you all have a look.

I hope it is just badly written and that they don’t wish to go as far as the words allow, but on the other hand, maybe they do.................

Personally I think it’s a declaration of war by cart on the way in which quite a lot of boaters choose to use the waterways.

The one about the BSS is clearly aimed at Mr Dunkley!

Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near." (Tell them you're in Devizes when really you're right outside their offices in Milton Keynes - that'll throw 'em! Perhaps our Jim has some custard pies with which to surprise them!)

The one about the BSS is clearly aimed at Mr Dunkley! Tony says you deserve the navigation authority you vote for. Or something like that. Any idea what happened to the boater on hunger strike?

The one about the BSS is clearly aimed at Mr Dunkley! Yes I think so to. But what I don’t understand from it is, are they going to expect all craft to have a European Rcd? I thought this was specifically for new craft, there’s going to be a lot of hassle for a lot of boaters if they try to start applying this retrospectively.

I don't think there is any intention to apply RCD but checking BS is going to become more rigourous. Why am I not surprised?
