The song is dodgy but I think its very modern - lots of moaning about how things were better in the past.

How good to see Rose, Laura, Bill and Michael. Real professionals at work and they ran a lovely pair of boats. Looked like the Jam Hole kept a good stock of coal.

My best mate from college married a guy who was into historic boats.In fact,his dad(Dr Cyril Boucher) was heavily into restoration around Marple.There is very little Andy Boucher doesn't know about the old days & he's had a fair few old working boats.He(& his dad)were so passionate about the working boats that they were accepted by the boaters.Andy now has 1 boat which is his,plus a half share in another one.The Wain brothers at Brinklow are very much involved in these boats.
