We have these and I have been quite happy with them. The only thing that is good for is cutting screws. Useless things for making off proper crimped connections

Useless things for making off proper crimped connections They were very good for stripping the plastic covering off of electrical wires. I bought them, and am happy to keep them in the toolbox. Not sure if I need any crimping done.

I bought them, and am happy to keep them in the toolbox. Not sure if I need any crimping done. that is about the only thing they can do ..... as crimpers they are totally pants.

Anyway, photos to sort out now... and my afternoon snooze. Oh, and packing... train to The South tomorrow.

Oh, and packing... train to The South tomorrow. if you need to do any crimping buy a decent pair of ratchet crimpers, usually about £17 from an electrical wholesaler and not stuff from a DIY place.

And as any of us with half an idea on cable preparation know - the correct tool for stripping wire/cable are side cutters or wire /cable strippers. 👍

in case you hadn't noticed, MM was seeking advice about a type of CRIMPER. (for crimping terminals not for producing fuzzy hair )

If you want a decent crimp tool it has to be Cembre. You will need a big wallet.
