beta.nationalcareers.service.gov.uk/I did the questionnaire and first suggestion was that I might like to be a boxer. I never thought of this potential option. Slightly odd that there was at no stage any enquiry as to age or gender. Odd. For all they know I may be an 88 year old transgender female. It is the truth of the matter that they already know everything about me including glove size from data harvested via my phone.

That was fun! Lots of ideas, it seems I should think about being a coroner, actor, steeplejack or body piercer!!!!!

Steeplejack Cake decorator Head chef Montessori teacher Reckon I'll just stay retired Phil You could combine them.
Get the kitchen to bake a very very high cake, decorate it yourself to look like a steeple, teach kiddywinks how to climb up it.
Would be an interesting project for someone just lazying around on benefits!

My third suggestion was Emergency Services - in my 45th year of being directly involved (the first 30) and then indirectly involved, so there may be some sense in it.
A few of my FB chums have done this and got odd suggestions, I wonder if it's skewed by people answering the questions they way they think they ought to rather than saying what they really think.

There might be some truth in this... I wanted to answer 'It depends' on all questions. Decided they didn't want me to prevaricate so much though...
eta. just redone the questions honestly, 'we are unable to offer any job suggestions'...

I'm so roundly skilled it never narrowed it down. At the school version I was advised to get a job in a factory on a production line. Such work would have caused a mental breakdown for me, I can't stand repetition, once I'm good at something I'm done with it and move on.I ended up in a position that technically required I had 2 seperate Engineering degrees.

I think you are right I ran it again but answered more honestly and it came up with "sole occupant pleasure boat skipper" So maybe it does work ?

One flaw, I don't qualify for any benefits Phil 😁 What not even the state pension! That is disgusting! State pension is not a benefit, I paid in for 47 years and now I get my entitlement so together with my graduation pension, my private pendion , Chris's private pension and her state pension entitlement we are well above the limit to claim benefits such as housing benefit, council tax relief etc etc Phil 🤗
